A rapping bear, keyboard squirrel, drunk deer, Bloody Beetroots and Cool Kids. Doesn’t get much better than that.
yep….EEEEEEEEE
I’m not sure how much I love some of Salem’s psychedelic goth tracks but one thing I do know for sure is this Gucci Mane remix goes hard. Best described as a grimy masterpiece. The swag Salem has on this track is ridiculous.
Listening to this transports me to a gritty New York neighborhood throwin’ bows through a massive subway line on grey winter afternoon. New Era covering face, upper lip sweaty.
Another Salem track after the jump…

you may recall yesterday when i talked about Cudi and Guetta’s “Memories” just being kind of boring and lifeless. i’ve never really felt the song – i know some people really like it, but “Memories” always seemed like a Starbucks version of the party starters of some of his contemporaries like Crookers, Diplo and so on.
having said that, his new refix of the track sounds like he’s been spending some time in Miami. he really breathes some life back into this song, and now it has a dark/party-starting monster living within it, not unlike Sayid on Lost
David Guetta & Kid Cudi – Memories (Fuck Me I’m Famous Remix)
this one may yet make it into the Alcohol Consumption Playlist, but he still looks like a douche
pitchfork leaked this (unfinished track)
major lazer, M.I.A. and busy signal – sound of siren (right click, save as)
and then diplo took to twitter to announce a new Major Lazer EP dropping in April. eeee

As a tribute to my beginning here at mostlyjunkfood i bring you Rad Omen‘s rad new music video, Rad Anthem.
The video features fast food junkfoods finest smoking j’s, takin shots, and blowing lines as they rage hard on a night out. Wendy, Colonel S, Ron McD- these fools really know how to partyyyyy. Recognize anyone who’s dressed up in costume….?
pick up the song here
Wendy is played by d-list comedian Nick Swardson, the BKing is Beardo, but my favorite is Colonel Sanders, who appears to be none other than Dirt Nasty. Here’s a little taste of the Dirt and Beardo incase you don’t already know (you should)….
in case the last video left a bad taste in your mouth, here’s something a little more in a different direction
symphonies remix official video
dig the song. we’re on the mescudder’s d extra hard lately. eat some breakfast first
actually made some friends on chat roullette just now. they greeted me with a sign that said “weed or nipples” and i knew it was the start of a wonderful friendship. they were some English blokes drinking lager and listening to Satchmo, just cruising for nipples. aren’t we all?? i put them on to the blog and they suggested these two songs (both of which i’ve never heard before and both of which are great):
so here’s to you, UK homeys. thanks for putting me on.
weed and nipples and jazz music for life
haha oh and to my other friend i made today – you’s a fool for this one
TAKE HER hahahaha i love the internet
shouts to YouTube
I think Diplo has remixed his song “Way More” on almost every CD he has released. Its a skeet! (frisky dingo reference) This is the original from his 2004 release Florida (must have album). The horns on this track create an epic build up to a beautifully layered, heavy hitting beat. Check it out.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEE
